Thai Nguyen is renowned as the “Top-rated tea land”, boasting the largest tea cultivation area and production output in the country. The tea plant has been identified as a key crop of Thai Nguyen Province. To promote the value of tea trees and tea products and to elevate the “Thai Nguyen tea” brand further in domestic and international markets, the province has issued several significant policies and strategies, including the development of Thai Nguyen tea culture. The program to exchange and promote Thai Nguyen tea culture and the art of tea appreciation among Youth Union members and young people in the province is a concrete step in implementing this policy. Through this program, it aims to encourage Youth Union members, young people and the younger generation to love and explore Thai Nguyen tea culture; spread the traditional values of tea appreciation in modern life; and inspire youth-created tea spaces that blend tradition and modernity, bringing tea closer to the lives of young people. At the same time, it seeks to enhance knowledge and skills related to tea culture among Youth Union members and young people, thereby continuing to harness the natural potential and ethnic cultural identity of Thai Nguyen Province linked to tea, with the goal of establishing Vietnamese tea culture as a world intangible cultural heritage.
