On February 15, 2023, the Ministry of Health issued Official Letter No. 683/ BYT-DP on giving opinion on the draft Decision on approving the Scheme of communication on prevention and fighting against harmful effects of alcohol and beer by 2030 and submitting to People's Committees of provinces and cities at central authority. Based on the opinions of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities, the Ministry of Health has been currently finalizing the draft Decision to submit to the Prime Minister for approval.

Among these, Thai Nguyen has 2 recognized heritages: Tan Cuong tea growing and processing knowledge (in Tan Cuong, Phuc Triu, Phuc Xuan, Thai Nguyen city) and Van and Vo mountain traditional festival, Van Yen Commune (Dai Tu).
