Phu Binh: Over 90% of households meet all 8 criteria of "Building 5-No, 3-Clean Families" campaign

The Union has directed the construction and development of the "Women's Flower Roads" model to create green, clean and beautiful landscapes. Women throughout the district have planted over 200 flower roads and green trees along inter-hamlet and inter-commune transportation routes and cultural house compounds. Notable examples include the Women's Union of Duong Thanh commune and Ha Chau commune, which have achieved 100% green coverage of hamlet roads with flowers and trees; in Tan Duc commune, 100% of cultural house compounds have been planted with green hedges and flowers.

In addition, the Union has organized propaganda on waste sorting at 100% of Union branches while providing tools and seedlings to implement environmental protection models. To date, several models are proving effective, contributing to reducing waste discharged into the environment.

Through these activities, the awareness of Union officials has shown positive changes, with many highly effective models emerging and being maintained. Currently, the district has 276 core women's branches participating in environmental protection, 276 "building 5-No, 3-Clean families" clubs; 199 recycling waste collection models generating funds for poor women and children; 3 "market lane" models; 1 "garbage-free river" model; over 90% of households in the district (equivalent to 33,171 out of 36,716 households) have met all 8 criteria of the "Building 5-No, 3-Clean Families" campaign, positively contributing to helping the locality complete the criteria for advanced new rural development.
