In the report to the Central Assessment Council, Phu Binh district leadership stated: After being recognized by the central government as meeting new rural district standards in 2022, with the province's support and attention, along with the determination of the entire political system and the unified efforts of the people, Phu Binh district continued to develop advanced NR standards. To date, 100% of inter-district and inter-commune roads have been asphalted and concreted; approximately 99% of hamlet roads and alleys have been hardened; all 19 communes have cultural houses, cultural centers and sports facilities meeting regulatory standards, with playgrounds and recreational areas equipped with sports equipment for residents; and broadband internet connections cover 100% of hamlets and residential areas. Additionally, the district continues to focus on promoting tourism, OCOP products, improving the effectiveness of cooperatives and addressing environmental and livestock concerns.
The district's economic structure has also shifted significantly toward increasing the proportion of industry and services. Agricultural production has developed in a commercial direction, gradually forming production and consumption linkage chains, contributing to increasing the value of agricultural production. Economic development has helped improve the material and spiritual living conditions of the people. In 2024, the district's poverty rate is 2.13%, a decrease of 2.05% compared to 2022...

After listening to the report of Phu Binh district, members of the Central Assessment Council contributed several comments about focusing on sustainable agricultural development linked to environmental protection to help the district continue building sustainable NR areas and improving the quality of advanced NR criteria.

At the meeting, 100% of the Central Assessment Council members agreed to recommend that the Prime Minister recognize Phu Binh district as meeting advanced NR district standards in 2024. Thus, as of the current time, Phu Binh is the first district in Thai Nguyen province, as well as among the northern mountainous provinces, to complete the construction of an advanced NR district.

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Thanh Nam agreed with the opinions of the Central Assessment Council members in recommending the Prime Minister recognize Phu Binh district as meeting advanced NR district standards in 2024. Additionally, the Deputy Minister requested that the authorities and people of Phu Binh district continue to unite and work together to improve and enhance the quality of the advanced NR criteria. He also urged the district to quickly complete the documentation to submit to the Prime Minister for recognition as an advanced NR district in 2024 and to continue implementing solutions to maintain and improve the quality of advanced NR criteria in the coming time.
