Choosing a tourist destination in my own hometown for weekend experiences, I visited Van Yen commune, Dai Tu district, a peaceful countryside nestled at the foot of Tam Dao Mountain to experience the famous local dish – fermented pork roll.

On February 28 afternoon, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board held a conference to deploy the tasks of mass mobilization work in 2024. Comrade Pham Thai Hanh, Member of the Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board, chaired the conference.

In order to promote propaganda and raise awareness for cadres, Party members and people about the contents of the task of building and developing Thai Nguyen culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country, the Department of Propaganda and Education of Thai Nguyen Province Party Committee organized a Propaganda Contest to implement Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 09, 2014 of the 11th Central Executive Committee on "Building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the country".

On February 20, the 1st Military Region in collaboration with Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee solemnly organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the Project of renovating and embellishing Historical relic of the Site where the Second National Salvation Squad was established on September 15, 1941 in Khuon Manh Forest, Trang Xa Commune, Vo Nhai District. The program was attended by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leadership of the 1st Military Region, related departments and branches and Vo Nhai district.

On January 10, 2024, Dai Tu district organized the launching ceremony of “The peak week of Tet for the poor in the threshold of the Dragon Year of 2024". At the program, Nui Phao Mining Company Limited (Nui Phao Mining) extended support of VND 50 million and 77 gift packs with a total value of nearly VND 100 million for the poor and near-poor households, and local people in need.

Vietnamese people, regardless of where they live or work, always aspire to reunite with their families during the Tet holiday, the arrival of Spring. For naval officers and soldiers on duty in Truong Sa archipelago, they celebrate Tet on islands hundreds of nautical miles away from the mainland and hometown because of the noble and sacred mission of firmly protecting the sovereignty of the Fatherland of Vietnam.

On November 19 evening, at the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts, the closing ceremony of the Understanding Contest of Laws on Ethnic Affairs in the Northeast region in 2023 took place. The Closing ceremony was attended by the following comrades: Y Thong, Deputy Minister, Deputy Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee; Trieu Tai Vinh, Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Tran Thi Hoa Ry, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee and representatives of a number of ministries, departments and branches of the Central Government.

On January 6 morning, at Ghenh Che Lake, Binh Son commune, Song Cong city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with Song Cong City People's Committee organized the announcement of the Decision of Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee to recognize Ghenh Che Lake Community Tourist Spot. The ceremony was attended by departments and sectors of the province, as well as a large number of residents from Binh Son Commune.

After almost 10 years, we had the opportunity to return to Suoi Cat hamlet, Ha Thuong commune, Dai Tu district. The road to the hamlet’s Cultural House is now widened and concreted with two lanes. On both sides of the roadways we saw lush green rice fields, and nice large houses. What impressed us the most during this visit is the cultural exhibition corner of the Cao Lan ethnic minority people, a distinctive cultural space supported by Nui Phao Mining Company.

To achieve the objective of sustainable poverty reduction, the Prime Minister has instructed ministries, sectors and localities to allocate budgets to implement many poverty reduction programs, mechanisms and policies for the people. In Thai Nguyen, with many solutions, mechanisms and policies under the National Target Program (NTP) on sustainable poverty reduction for 2021 – 2025 period, it has contributed to diversifying livelihoods, creating leverage to help people rise out of poverty sustainably.

On December 19, the Cultural Museum of Vietnam ethnic minority groups organized the thematic exhibition titled "ASEAN Handicrafts associated with environmental protection" and the Inauguration of an automated narration software application. The program was attended by Comrade Tran Hai Van, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism); leaders of a number of departments, branches and units in the province.

In 11 months of 2023, traffic accidents in Thai Nguyen province decreased in all three criteria in terms of the number of cases, deaths and injuries compared to the same period in 2022. To achieve that result, the police of Thai Nguyen province synchronously and drastically implemented measures to ensure traffic order and safety, focusing on propaganda and dissemination of the law on traffic safety to all classes of people; at the same time strengthened patrol, control, detecting and strictly handling violations on the traffic route.

On December 10 evening, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts in collaboration with Viet Bac Art and Culture College, Viet Bac Folk Music and Dance Theater and the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts organized "Mountain flower" art program in 2023. The program introduced typical works of Thai Nguyen artists who won high prizes at a art festivals and performances. The event was attended by leaders of some agencies, units, a large number of artists and the general public.

Tac Xinh is a dance of San Chay community in Tuc Tranh commune, Phu Luong district. It is a spiritual activity, a spiritual connection for people to give thanks to heaven and earth, carrying the wish for a year of favorable weather, abundant wildlife, a bountiful harvest of corn, and a peaceful and happy village.

President Ho Chi Minh was a person who attached and paid special attention to Thai Nguyen province. He stayed and worked at ATK Dinh Hoa - Thai Nguyen to lead the country during the resistance war against French colonial aggression (1946 - 1954). When the Party Central Committee and the Government moved to Hanoi, he returned 7 times to visit the people of Thai Nguyen province. In particular, the Provincial Party School (now Thai Nguyen Province School of Politics) was honored to be visited by Uncle Ho during his last visit to Thai Nguyen (December 31, 1963).

In 2023, Thai Nguyen province received nearly 2.5 million tourists, including 20 thousand international visitors and over 2.4 million domestic visitors.

On December 1, Comrade Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province, attended the Review Conference on emulation work in 2023 for the Radio and Television Stations and the Communication Centers of the Northeast Mountainous Provinces (Emulation Cluster No. 2).

On December 1 morning, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies attended and handed over the Decision on appointing Comrade Ngo Thanh Trung to the position of Chief of Office of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province.

It is determined that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics and style is a central task of the whole political system, for the past years, Party committees in Thai Nguyen province have seriously implemented Directive 05 of the Politburo with various innovative models and approaches tailored to each unit and locality. This contribution significantly aids in the socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building a strong Party and political system. On November 30, the Provincial People's Committee issued a written directive on approving a temporary traffic arrangement plan on some routes within Thai Nguyen City to facilitate the construction and installation of the span structure of Hanoi - Thai Nguyen railway overpass and adjust traffic organization plan on Viet Bac Street.
