Korean investors discuss opportunities to cooperate in investing in data centers in Thai Nguyen

Data centers are a critical component of digital infrastructure and the market is currently attracting significant investment in this field. Vietnam is recognized as one of the fastest-growing markets for data centers and cloud computing in ASEAN. It is forecasted that by 2030, Vietnam's data center market will reach USD 1.26 billion, with an average growth rate of nearly 11%. Through discussions, the investor representatives assessed Thai Nguyen as a province with considerable potential for data center development. The province's digital infrastructure is being prioritized for modern, synchronized, secure and sustainable investment.

During the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directly addressed the investors' concerns, including legal regulations and investment policies, infrastructure, geographical location, financial scale, human resources, environment and safety, market and potential customers, business models and development strategies. The Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee affirmed: "The development of data centers is not only a goal but also a political determination of Thai Nguyen. Therefore, the province will create the most favorable conditions for investors to develop data centers in the locality.
