Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung spoke at the Conference
On October 14, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Official Letter No. 1400/TTg-KSTT on approving the addition of Yen Binh Concentrated IT Park - Phase 1, with a scale of 200 hectares, to the Master Plan for the Development of Concentrated IT Parks by 2020, with a vision toward 2025. This reflects the Government's direction to develop concentrated IT Parks, aligning with state policies and the IT industry's development trends. It serves as the foundation for Thai Nguyen Province to adjust zoning plans, prepare investment projects and attract investment to Yen Binh Concentrated IT Park. The establishment and operation of Yen Binh Concentrated IT Park is also a solution for Thai Nguyen Province to realize the Party and State's policies on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, as outlined in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, by the Politburo. Currently, Thai Nguyen Province has completed the dossier submitted to the Prime Minister for approval to establish Yen Binh Concentrated IT Park.

Leaders of departments, sectors and localities attended the Conference
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung thanked experts from provinces and cities for sharing their experiences. With the goal of building Yen Binh Concentrated IT Park as a "digital-green" zone and Vietnam's first Net Zero model, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Science and Technology to propose outstanding policies with clear, harmonious roadmaps and specific solutions for the development of the Concentrated IT Park. Thai Nguyen University was tasked with establishing an independent expert group to research and advise the province on ensuring the project's accuracy and alignment with the province's development. Departments and sectors were urged to absorb expert opinions to propose solutions for implementing the Concentrated IT Park in the coming time.
