In the afternoon of April 15, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province handed over the decision to establish Tan Phu 1 and Tan Phu 2 industrial clusters in Pho Yen town and Luong Son industrial cluster in Song Cong city to Saigon Telecom Technology Joint Stock Company (SAIGONTEL).

Innovating investment promotion, diversifying forms of investment attraction, prioritizing the selection of projects with large investment scale, advanced and modern technology, environmentally friendly production, potential investors with long-term investment strategy, creating a spillover, that is the throughout guiding motto, the successful lesson of Thai Nguyen province in attracting investment, especially attracting investment of large economic groups.

Thai Nguyen is located in the Hanoi Capital area and one of the central provinces of the Northern Midland and Mountainous region that has many advantages to attract the domestic and foreign investors.

Thai Nguyen is a province in the Northeast Vietnam, the gateway connecting Viet Bac to the North Delta and is defined as the center of Northeast provinces.

On the afternoon of July 13, the Standing Board of Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee to organize a program to receive support for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control of Samsung Vietnam.

On the evening of July 15, Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council had a working meeting with BRG Group Joint Stock Company (BRG Group) on the proposal to implement a number of projects in Thai Nguyen City and Pho Yen Town. Attending the meeting were representatives of a number of related departments, sectors and localities.

In the context of the complicated COVID-19 pandemic, the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has actively developed a plan to operate and direct the departments of all levels and sectors to focus on implementing "dual goals": drastically preventing and combating the pandemic together with maintaining and developing socio-economic activities. The results of the first-half of the year showed that Thai Nguyen portrait of economy was still very bright, with lots of spotlights which will be the base for the province to successfully complete the goals of 2021.
