Inspecting public service and administrative reform in Thai Nguyen province in 2025

Inspection Delegation at the People's Committee of Thinh Dan Ward, Thai Nguyen City

Accordingly, on May 9, the Delegation conducted inspections at the People's Committee of Chua Hang Ward and the People's Committee of Thinh Dan Ward (Thai Nguyen City). Through on-site inspections at these localities, the Delegation found that key tasks in administrative reform implementation for the 2021-2025 period, especially digital transformation, have been prioritized. Public services aimed at citizens and businesses have received attention and the resolution of administrative procedures has become increasingly transparent, convenient and quick. Additionally, the Delegation also frankly pointed out and specifically analyzed existing limitations and shortcomings, requesting localities to promptly address them.

During this inspection period, the Delegation will examine the development and implementation of Directive No. 20-CT/TU dated April 26, 2023 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on further promoting administrative reform and improving governance and public administration effectiveness in Thai Nguyen Province by 2025; Plan No. 38/KH-UBND dated March 8, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the Public Service Culture Scheme of Thai Nguyen Province for 2024-2025 period; the Administrative Reform Program for 2021-2025 period; the Program for Improving Governance and Public Administration Effectiveness for 2022-2025 period; and the issuance of leadership and directive documents on administrative reform and enhancing governance and public administration effectiveness. The Delegation will also inspect matters related to public service culture, public service ethics, professional codes of conduct for civil servants and public employees and prohibited activities for officials, civil servants and public employees...

The Delegation will also inspect the results of citizen reception work, resolution of feedback and recommendations from individuals and organizations regarding public service activities of officials, civil servants and public employees; administrative procedure reform, implementation of the one-stop mechanism and inter-agency one-stop mechanism; civil service reform; development of e-government and digital government; and listen to future directions, tasks and proposals and recommendations from the grassroots level.

From May 12 to May 14, the Delegation will conduct inspections in Pho Yen City, the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks and the Provincial Market Management Department. During this period, the Delegation will also inspect the implementation of conclusions from public service inspections and administrative reform inspections from 2023 and 2024 in several localities.
