Key traffic projects are being planned to complete 30 days ahead of schedule

The delegation went to check the implementation progress of 02 projects invested by Projects Management Board of Provincial Traffic Construction Investment, including: Project of rebuilding and upgrading DT.266 road from Song Cong intersection to Diem Thuy intersection, Phu Binh district with a total investment of over 200 billion VND, the total  route length is about 5km (in which the section in Phu Binh district is 3.2km and the section in Pho Yen town is 1.8km); Project of rebuilding and upgrading DT.261 road, section from Km1+00 to Km20+00, with a total length of 19km according to grade-4 mountainous road standards starting from Binh Thuan commune, ending at Quan Chu town, Dai Tu district; The extended Bac Son road project, invested by Xuan Truong Group Joint Stock Company, has a total length of 9.5km, connecting from Luong Ngoc Quyen street, Quang Trung ward to Cao Trang hamlet, Phuc Xuan commune, Thai Nguyen City, level-2 urban main street standard.

According to quick reports of the units, all projects are being speed up by contractors, striving to be completed 30 days before the approved project plan. As for the extended Bac Son road project, the goal is to open the route in October 2021.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Project Investors and contractors must focus on human and material resources, speed up the construction progress

During inspection session, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The inspected projects are key traffic projects to connect inter-regional transport infrastructure, and orienting socio-economic development of localities and Thai Nguyen province. Especially, in the context of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the effective implementation of public investment projects is especially important, contributing to production development, service development and promoting socio-economic development of each locality and province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has requested the investors and contractors in the inspected projects to focus on human and material resources, speed up the construction progress, ensure the technical and aesthetic aspects of the works and at the same time soon complete the investment capital disbursement dossier according to the completed work volume. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investors to set up a regular reporting schedule on the public investment capital disbursement progress in 2021 as required in Official Letter No. 3998/UBND-TH, dated 20/8/ 2021 of the Provincial People's Committee. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the relevant departments, branches and localities to strengthen the coordination and inspection work to speed up the work progress as well as promptly propagates, mobilizes and communicates with the People to resolve difficulties and obstacles and to settle the reasonable request of the People on the basis of respect for the law; also required investors and contractors to focus on construction, speeding up the progress of striving to complete projects 30 days before the approved plan.
