In which, domestic revenue reached over VND 17,585 billion, equal to 87% of total budget revenue in the area; revenue from import and export activities reached VND 2,539 billion, equal to 12.5%. The taxes with high revenues compared to the plan are as follows: Revenues from the central state-owned enterprise sector reached 105.3% of the plan; revenue from the local state-owned enterprise sector reached 116.5% of the plan; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reached 100.4% of the annual plan; revenue from land leasing reached 216.5% of the annual plan.
Many localities in the province have met and exceeded the state budget revenue target such as: Pho Yen City’s revenue reached VND 2,855 billion, equal to 125.5% of the plan; Dai Tu district’s revenue reached VND 668 billion, equal to 182.8% of the plan; Song Cong City’s revenue reached VND 1,066 billion, equal to 127.6% of the plan; Phu Binh district’s revenue reached VND 664 billion, equal to 147.6% of the plan; the revenues of Dinh Hoa, Phu Luong, Dong Hi, Vo Nhai districts all exceeded the assigned targets.

In the context of general difficulties of the economy, along with maintaining the positive growth momentum of the province (5.01%) in 2023, this result demonstrates the drastic and effective guidance of Party committees and authorities at all levels; the efforts and endeavors of the business community, entrepreneurs and the consensus of all classes of people in the province; At the same time, it has an important significance to help the province have conditions to well perform the tasks of socio-economic development of the locality.

In 2024, the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council assigns the state budget revenue target in the area to be VND 19,515 billion. Right from the beginning of the year, all levels, branches and localities in the province have embarked on synchronous implementation of tasks and solutions. Thai Nguyen province is determined to strive to complete and exceed the state budget revenue target in 2024.
