The jury evaluated the quality of dishes

The Culinary Festival "Experiencing the tea region, imbued with identity" featured 38 teams. The participants included experts, connoisseurs and individuals skilled in preparing ethnic cuisine; chefs and culinary staff from tourism businesses, restaurants, food services, homestays and tourist attractions within and beyond the province. The teams meticulously researched, innovated in their preparation and perfected recipes to compete with 153 diverse dishes that highlighted Thai Nguyen tea products and tea plants.

The Organizing Committee and Judges evaluated and provided feedback on each dish based on factors such as aesthetics, quality and nutritional value. All dishes showcased distinctive characteristics, sophistication, creativity and clever integration of Thai Nguyen tea ingredients with other main components. The Organizing Committee awarded certificates to the Top 153 unique dishes made from Thai Nguyen tea ingredients and products to the participating teams.

After the Festival, the Organizing Committee recommended that sub-associations under the Provincial Tourism Association and participating teams continue to promote and introduce the unique dishes made from Thai Nguyen tea ingredients and products at domestic and international promotional, marketing and culinary events. The teams were also encouraged to maintain connections, exchange experiences and expand the reach of these unique culinary products, thereby showcasing the distinctive, exceptional and exclusive cuisine of Thai Nguyen to a wide range of tourists visiting and experiencing the province.
