Tourists enjoying Thai Nguyen's unique cuisine and dishes made from Thai Nguyen tea

The festival will feature experts, folk artisans, culinary specialists skilled in ethnic cuisine preparation and chefs and food preparers from tourism businesses, restaurants, food services, hotels, guesthouses, homestays and tourist attractions both within and outside the province.

Each participating team will select and prepare at least three signature dishes representing their local culinary traditions, incorporating Thai Nguyen tea products and ingredients to create unique and distinctive dishes characteristic of Thai Nguyen province. Teams will also present information about ingredients, preparation processes, significance, dish values and organize displays at the festival.

The Festival Organizing Committee will award Certificates of Participation in the "Tea Land Experience: Imbued with Identity" Culinary Festival 2024 to participating teams and select and award Certificates for dishes that make it into the Top 100 outstanding dishes made with ingredients from Thai Nguyen tea trees.

Through the Festival, the Organizing Committee aims to explore and introduce traditional dishes incorporating Thai Nguyen tea products, creating unique and distinctive culinary products of Thai Nguyen province. This contributes to preserving and promoting traditional culinary cultural values while enriching tourism products to introduce and promote to domestic and international tourists. The event also aims to promote food processing skills and technology development, leverage local knowledge, honor artisans and creative culinary talents and create opportunities for localities and units to exchange experiences and create culinary innovations using local ingredients. This will help gradually build a brand for tea-based dishes connected to food service establishments, creating Thai Nguyen's distinctive culinary culture.
