Sustainable development - Pillar of a long-term strategy

For TNG, sustainable development is not just an inevitable trend but an important criterion throughout the entire production and business process. TNG is aiming for and committed to pursuing a green development model by innovating project implementation to increasingly align with the sustainable development standards of the United Nations and Vietnam. TNG Vo Nhai, TNG Dong Hy and TNG Son Cam projects are typical cases of TNG's commitment to comprehensive sustainable development across economic, social and environmental sectors. Song Cong Supporting Factory's Silver Lotus certification and Vo Nhai Green Factory's LEED standard achievement are clear evidence of TNG's continuous efforts in building green facilities.

TNG also utilizes modern simulation software in design to minimize energy consumption; selects appropriate, efficient and environmentally friendly materials; and installs modern, advanced machinery and equipment for green buildings, ensuring fuel efficiency while increasing the use of products with low VOC and Formaldehyde content to protect worker health. The company is committed to not using coal-fired boilers, instead implementing electric furnace systems to reduce CO₂ emissions each year; developing a roadmap for using 100% renewable energy and recycled materials in production and business activities...

Recently, TNG has installed a 998 kWp rooftop solar power system at Viet Thai Garment Branch. Beyond economic benefits, the system helps reduce emissions by approximately 800 tons of CO₂ annually and cools the factory by 5-8°C thanks to the photovoltaic panel roof covering.

At the same time, the lighting system throughout the Company has been replaced from incandescent bulbs to fluorescent lighting. Outdoor lighting systems have been converted to solar power. TNG has also invested in installing Biomass furnace systems at the Packaging Branch; 100% of factories are equipped with automatic wastewater monitoring systems.

At the same time, TNG has researched and developed new materials for the garment industry by reusing surplus materials after production, contributing to increased business value while reducing resource exploitation and environmental pollution. The company applies a circular economy model to balance the ecosystem, aiming for sustainable production and business that not only complies with Vietnamese standards but also approaches international standards.
