Even before 7 a.m., at the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Hoang Van Thu Ward, the participating teams had all arrived, bringing their performance props and tools. Everything was ready for the first "Skillful Civic Mobilization" competition, which also served as a pilot event for Thai Nguyen City.
The introduction performance of Team 6
Mr. Trieu Duc Tuoi, Secretary of the Party cell of Residential Group 15, Head of Team 6, said: Team 6 consists of various branches (Group 11, 14, 15; Doi Can 1 Primary School; National Bank, Thai Nguyen Investment Co., Ltd.). Since the members come from different units with distinct characteristics, the training had to be adapted to suit each individual's specifics. The team constructed performance scripts based on real-life situations in their localities, drawing from successful civic mobilization efforts such as mobilizing for the construction of cultural houses and donating land for roads… Team members were very conscious in their training, practicing in the evenings or on days off, completing their performances in just over a month.
Ms. Giang Thi Kim Quy, Secretary of Group 8 Party cell, Head of Team 2 (including Party cells of Groups 4, 5, 8, Mountainous Mining Joint Stock Company, Dicchia Joint Stock Company) shared: The competition is a practical activity to enhance awareness of civic mobilization work and skills in handling local mobilization situations. Especially, the 'Skillful Civic Mobilization Example' segment is a way to commend the efforts of the people in civic mobilization over the past period. Besides focusing on revising knowledge for the quiz segment, the team also built scripts for the introduction and situational sketches, assigning specific tasks to members. Through this, we aim to highlight achievements and effective methods in mobilizing the people to comply with and support socio-economic development programs, building a civilized urban area and sharing experiences in civic mobilization in localities and neighborhood groups.

Present to watch and cheer for the teams, Ms. Doan Kim Van from Residential Group 6, Hoang Van Thu Ward, felt that the competition was organized very methodically and grandly; the participating teams trained and performed professionally, with many sketches being humorous yet containing specific and meaningful content. "I find that this is an opportunity for civic mobilization officials to systematize their knowledge about civic mobilization work, enhance their skills in handling local situations and contribute to building a united and developing residential community" - Ms. Van evaluated.
As the central ward of Thai Nguyen City, Hoang Van Thu Ward Party Committee was selected by the Thai Nguyen City Party Committee to organize a pilot event to draw experiences for other wards and communes in the city. After being implemented, the Party cells and teams prepared thoroughly under the leadership of the Party Committee and the close coordination of the government, agencies, units and socio-political organizations. Additionally, the competition attracted wide interest from the public, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the ward.
A representatives of Team 4 participated in the knowledge and situational handling segment
Ms. Pham Thi Minh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoang Van Thu ward said: The ward Party Committee has 34 Party cells and over 1,700 party members. The ward Party Committee assigned officers to closely follow and guide the teams in preparing their segments according to the guidelines and regulations of the Organizing Committee. Determining this as a deep political activity, the ward developed a plan, established an Organizing Committee and implemented key tasks to the Party cells and residential groups to successfully organize the city's pilot competition. Six teams participated in the competition, undergoing three segments: Introduction; 'Skillful Civic Mobilization' example; and knowledge and situational handling through dramatization, presentation and Q&A.
Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Nhan, Deputy Head of the Department for Propaganda and Education of Thai Nguyen City Party Committee, Head of the Jury of the Contest evaluated: The competition was lively; the segments were confidently, flexibly, and creatively presented in various forms, showing the teams' efforts. The content of the segments was comprehensive, persuasive, and realistic, with profound propaganda and educational value, attracting participation from many societal groups. The knowledge and situational handling segments showcased the teams' responsibility and serious study, accurately addressing key points about civic mobilization within the given time, particularly with practical relevance. The teams flexibly applied and effectively handled situations in civic mobilization implementation, thereby demonstrating the local Party Committee's, Fatherland Front's, and socio-political organizations' leadership role in fulfilling local unit tasks. The teams' quality was quite even, with well-constructed, creatively and artistically invested scripts. Although the actors were not professionals, they delivered impressive performances. The Organizing Committee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and an Excellent Award for individual segments.

Profound messages about civic mobilization were skillfully and realistically conveyed at the "Skillful Civic Mobilization" competition, highlighting the critical role of civic mobilization in social life; creating consensus among the people in successfully implementing political, economic, and social tasks at the grassroots level. Through this, a united national block is built, fulfilling Uncle Ho's teaching: "Hundreds of times easier without the people, thousands of times harder, the people will also complete" in civic mobilization work.
